Burleys Coho revolutionizes the market of single-wheel bike trailers with thoughtful innovations. The Coho, into whose development almost 40 years of expert knowledge of Burley could flow, convinces not only by its design, but above all by high functionality and a substantial improvement with the compatibility with the Bike: In contrast to usual single wheel trailers with rigid connection the fork of the Coho can be attached to many bicycle axles and .hubs. It also fits Velo with wheels 700C and full mudguards and 29" tires.
Innovation and function
Burley developed a fork flexible in width, which is fixed by means of the innovative "double ball coupling". Thanks to the balls is possible to fix the fork at different angles. With a simple grip on the release lever, the trailer can be unhitched from the bike with one hand. The integrated stand keeps trailer and bike upright, which is great when parking and loading and unloading. The rear fork of the Burley Single-Wheel Trailer accommodates different 16" tire sizes. This allows you to switch between street, off-road and plus tires depending on the terrain. The high-quality suspension on the Coho XC ensures that the ride is smooth at all times, regardless of the terrain.
Thoughtful design
Because the top of the frame and the fender of the trailer are at the same height, transporting longer items is easy. At a pic-nic stop, the trailer provides a convenient storage area with the help of a cover. Luggage remains protected by the (removable) side walls made of textile, even without a transport bag. Generous openings on the side panels also allow the use of straps or tensioning straps. Extra loading capacity is created by holders available as accessories: A luggage rack allows panniers to be carried. Larger bags can be attached to the narrow bars at the sides and on top. Water bottle holders can be mounted on the sloping frame parts. Thanks to quick-release fasteners, the COHO can be assembled and folded just as quickly. For space-saving storage and transport, the front fork, rear fork and wheel and mudguard can be stowed in the luggage compartment.
